Quick Star

Quincy Z

The world-famous international jumping stallion Quick Star is represented at Zangersheide by Quilot Z and Quick Lauro Z, as well as by Quincy Z. This 5-yr-old stallion was already licensed by the KWPN in `99 under the name of Omni Star, after which the bay was registered in Oldenburg and Zangersheide under the name of Quincy Z. Sire Quick Star can be considered one of the best jumping suppliers in view of his numerous offspring doing remarkably well in young horse competitions, such as for example the `99 World Champion of the 5-yr-olds Mine Star (Rolf Goran Bengtsson), Quick Lauro Z (Jos Lansink) and Quick Sir Z (Rolf Goran Bengtsson).

In international circles Quick Star is represented by his daughter Sprehe Stella, the successful mare ridden by Meredith Michaels who has become as famous as her grandam with the same name. On the dam`s side Quincy Z carries the blood of the Holstein stallion Goodwill (Landgraf I x Moltke I x Farn). The international jumper Koodwill (Mathijs van Asten) is one of the best performing products of Goodwill. In the dam`s line of Quincy Z we also find the showjumper progenitor Grannus, particularly famous for his legendary products Top Gun (Jan Tops), Remus Equo (Anton Martin Bauer) and Grannusch (John Whitaker).
